NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY LIFTS BAN
3/14/00 - Happy students from Northern Arizona University have also e-mailed SAUC, letting us know that the school has lifted it's ban on Napster. The university wants to further educate and inform the students on how to responsibly use the school's network. SAUC applauds this gesture, and we hope that more universities will take notice and jump on this growing bandwagon that USC started. Petition count: 11,490
GANNON BRINGS BACK NAPSTER
3/14/00 - Many happy students from Gannon University have e-mailed SAUC, telling us about Gannon's plan to bring back Napster. Currently they are allowing limited access to Napster as well as monitoring the use of the program during those limited hours. Gannon University is allowing Napster to run from 9pm to 7am weekdays and on weekends. Congratulations to the students at Gannon University, and hats off to the administration for making a good decision.
